"If I'm honest, landscapes were the first inspirations for me to pick up a camera. In fact, it was Ansel Adams that inspired me to pick up a camera. I remember going to an exhibition of his prints that he made in London. As I walk in and went up the stairs at the South Bank where it was being held, there was a image of Half Dome. I swear I felt I was stepping into the landscape itself. I will never be as good as Ansel, but in my own way, I want to create something that gives me the shivers." - Simon
